Onyeka Onwenu (born 17 May 1952) is a Nigeria singer, songwriter, actress, human right activist, social activist, journalist, politician, recording artist and X Factor series judge.
She is from Arondizuogu, a small town in Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State in the south eastern part of Nigeria.

She is the youngest daughter of the Nigerian educationist and politician D.K. Onwenu. Her father died when she was four years old, in an autocrash.
She was dubbed the "Elegant Stallion" by the Nigerian press. She was the former chairperson of the Imo State Council for Arts and Culture and currently the Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer of the National Centre for Women Development.
She is respected as a living legend.
