Aliko Dangote Fortune increased By $100m To $2.2bn In A Year As He Emerges Forbes Top Billionaire For The Seventh Time In A Row
This time it is Nigeria to Africa, top business tycoon, Aliko Dangote tops Forbes list of Africa Billionaire with a net worth of $2.2bn.
President and Chief Executive of Dangote Group has strived to top Forbes list of Africa Billionaire for the seventh time In a row.
Following after Dangote in the African rich list is diamond mining heir Nicky Oppenheimer of South Africa ($7.7 billion) up $700 million last year.
Also on the list are newcomers – South Africa’s Michiel Le Roux at $1.2 billion and Zimbabwean telecom mogul Strive Masiyiwa (who becomes his country’s first billionaire) at $1.7billion – oil and telecom magnate Mike Adenuga at $5.3 billion, and the two women unchanged from last year – Isabel dos Santos at $2.3 billion and Folorunsho Alakija at $1.6billion among others.
